Of course, having a larger bold frame won’t matter if you have a small prescription but bear in mind that a bigger frame means more lens, and more lens is more weight on the bridge of your nose.With a strong prescription & bigger frame, your nose might not be as keen on your new fashion accessory! Today we are having a think about bold frames and the brave that choose to wear them. Clearly there are some stunning frame colours and equally some wonderful frame shapes that complement & highlight the wearer. Others are a little more subtle but will still achieve that “oh I love your new glasses” that we all love to receive. Either way it’s a confidence boost and a sense of defining a little of who we are. Some choose full time wear of bold frames and others opt for social wear, maintaining a conservative pair of work glasses. It is the expression of individuality and the very fact the everyone is a little different that is celebrated in the different styles.
Taking the leap into the world of bold frames appears to be something that many are keen to explore to express their “inner bold”. Is it a fashion accessory that supplies confidence? Perhaps a little, if not they certainly provide some fun in spectacle wearing and if you have been wearing them all day, every day that might just be enough to give them a try!
Not all bold frames are large, nor do they need to be. Some faces are just too petite for a large frame, so there are also many smaller options to choose from that allow the wearer to remain in vogue!
